Dr. Francoise Martin Pedigo is an Illinois board -licensed Chiropractic Physician.
Dr. Martin Pedigo studied medicine at the Faculties propedeutique de Paris, a medical school in Paris, France, and she received her Doctorate in Chiropractic from the National University of Health Sciences.
In addition Dr. Martin has pursued post-graduate studies in alternative medicine in the United States and China. She has completed post-doctoral studies at St. John Medical School's Montserrat facility/campus. Her expertise includes treatment of sports injuries, disc herniations sciatica including post surgical disc injuries, carpal tunnel syndrome, rotator cuff injury, fibromialgia, headaches and any musculoskeletal disorders from daily activities to auto or work accident related. In addition, she enjoys treating pregnant mothers and children. She is a certified acupuncturist, and is a member of the American Nutraceutical (Nutrition) Association.
During her years as a practicing chiropractic physician, she has been affiliated with neurosurgeons at the Chicago Institute of Neurosurgery and Neuroresearch (CINN) and St. Joseph Hospital, as well as with Physicians at Glenwood Medical Imaging and private practices. She was the team physician for a semi-pro football team, the Eagles and she has served as a consultant on injury prevention, ergonomic training, occupational medicine and rehabilitation for Future Industrial Technologies Corporation and United Airlines. Currently she has privileges at the WaterTower Surgical Center and is trained to do manipulation under anesthesia.
Dr. Martin Pedigo has taught Anatomy (dissection) to her French colleagues, and has taught injury prevention in Singapore.
